Explore Sleeping Bear Dunes Nationwide Lakeshore a little to the south of Glen Arbor, or hike through three other countrywide parks. Visit one of the 115 lighthouses that grace our shores or ride along 1,300 miles of dramatic Michigan bike trails.

Visit the eastern shorelines beach cities for antiques and dining. Let the youngsters splash around at one of our many waterparks or travel to Michigans thumb for water sports, camping and hiking. Cross the Mackinac Bridge and head to the Higher Peninsula for astounding views of the Great Lakes and natural miracles like Tahquamenon Falls, the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi.

For a little taste of city life, Detroit and Grand Rocks brim with options. Tour the home of the Motown sound or visit Greektown, Detroits most famed nightlife, restaurant and entertainment district. Stop by the new Campus Martius in the center of the town for summer-long activities. Catch a game at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers, or peruse the various museums in Detroits Cultural Center. Visit the River Rouge Ford Plant and get a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Dearborn Van Plants Last Assembly building.

In Grand Waterfall, discover the beauty and style of Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park or spend an evening out at the B.O.B, the big old building that has been restored into a downtown entertainment centre. And take a look at the expanding Grand Falls Humanities Museum.
